AREAS OF COMPETENCE
The goal of the master classes is to give the singers skills not only through vocal technique, but a holistic approach through several key areas, such as:

* Physical awareness, breath control, support, balance and breath flow, etc. through the training of Pilates.
* Pedagogic awareness through common warming-up sessions of the voice, the methodology around and analysis of exercises.
* Theoretical awareness by knowledge about anatomy, physiology and phonetics.
* Vocal awareness, voice technique, language training, interpretation, aesthetics and improvisation through singing lessons in master class.
* Stage awareness and communication through master classes and closing concert.


NUMBER OF SINGERS IN THE LARGE GROUP
We offer 10-12 advanced singers a place.
Age: From 20 years and upwards.
Educational requirements: Commenced or completed academic music education, opera school, opera studio, etc. 
Selection: The candidate sends a link with an aria and a song, and a recommendation of the current voice teacher.


NUMBER OF SINGERS IN THE SMALL GROUP
We offer 8 young talented singer or experienced singers a place.
Age: From 16 years and upwards.
Educational requirements: Commenced music high school, college or several years as active soloists.
Selection: The candidate sends a link with two songs and a recommendation of the current voice teacher.

TEACHING
All singers get 30min individual instruction per day.
All teaching is taking place in an open master class.
The Small Group  is taught parallel with masterclasses for the Large Group, but can mornings and evenings participate in all teaching with the more advanced singers.
All candidates get additionally training in Pilates, phonetics, methodology, practice, analysis, etc.

REPERTOIRE
The repertoire may be opera arias, church arias, concert arias, songs, Lieder, chansons, cabaret, spiritual songs, folk songs, contemporary works. The Large Group should have at least one song by a contemporary composer in their course repertoire.

LANGUAGE
Song Language may be Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, English (Oxford English and American English), German, French, Italian, Spanish, Latvian and Tjeckish.

CONCERT
The master class will end with an open, public concert at Bromma Folkhögskola
Wednesday 19.06 18:00

TUITION
Teaching languages can be Swedish, Norwegian, English or German.

COST
Sek. 6000 per active singer
Passive listeners are welcome free of charge
